We
welcome you to an experience that will surpass
all other foreign language training you have had.
inlingua®, with more than
30 years of language training experience, will
provide you instruction that will assure your
success in learning even the most difficult language.
- inlingua®
teaches virtually all foreign languages
- Regardless of the language, all programs
are developed especially for the student who
will be receiving the training. inlingua®
does not take a program from the shelf. Instead
we assess the student's current capabilities,
goals, and language learning style to develop
a program that best suits his/her individual
needs.
- Most students who come for foreign language
training study in a private tutorial setting
with the teacher. inlingua®
can also accommodate groups of students.
- Flexible hours and schedules are available.
The length and schedule of classes are also
determined by students’ needs and personal
demands. Students buy the number of hours
they would like and then use them in a schedule
that is most convenient for them.
- inlingua®
offers a comprehensive Resource Center with
modern computers, Internet access, interactive
programs on CD-ROM, educational tapes, periodicals,
and other multimedia learning tools.

The rate is $48 per hour. However,
if the initial purchase is of 50 hours or more,
the hourly rate is reduced to $47. There is
a one-time $185 registration and materials fee
per person which covers the cost of registration
and books, tapes and materials for the course.
Certain languages and longer courses may require
additional material fees. Forty hours is the
minimum purchase, and classes should be at least
two hours long. Payment should be made at least
one week before the start of the class. You
may also extend your course by simply purchasing
more hours. Furthermore, if you are near the
end of your course and have not used your entire
materials budget, we will convert the remaining
funds into tuition hours.

Although inlingua®
does not offer organized group classes in foreign
languages, you are encouraged to form your own.
The same rates and conditions apply as for private
individuals with the following exceptions: each
additional member of the group increases the
hourly rate by only $4. The $175 registration and materials
fee is due for each student in the group.

We will be happy to register
you for a class, but require that the registration
fee be paid before we can process your request
and begin arranging the class. In the event
that we are unable to schedule a course for
you, this $175 fee will be refunded in full.
However, should you need to cancel your course
after we have arranged it and confirmed it with
you, we will retain a $25 cancellation processing
fee.

Once your course begins, you
may find that you are not able to continue because
of personal or professional commitments. We
are always happy to delay the course until a
later date. Unused hours may be retained for
one calendar year after the purchase date. However, if it becomes necessary to
withdraw, a course cancellation fee will be
assessed.
If you have completed 75% or fewer of your
total hours purchased, there is a 10% cancellation
fee on the unused hours, and the remainder will
be refunded to you.
If you have completed more than 75% of your
total hours purchased, no refund can be issued.
If you need further information regarding our
courses, rates, and policies, please contact

Assessment
- If you are not a beginner, you will be assessed
during the
first week of class. This assessment will then
allow the instructor and
coordinator to choose materials that are level
and language goal
appropriate. The assessment is informal; however,
should you need a
formalized exam at the end of your course, you
can speak with the testing
director, Ms. Eliana Preston. Formal testing
services conducted by Ms.
Preston do incur additional fees, and she can
provide this information
should you need this type of structured evaluation.
There are a few other things to keep in mind
regarding course cost.
- The material fee will be due with tuition.
Additional materials can be
purchased if necessary. Should any monies
remain at the end of the course, they will
be refunded to you by the method in which
they were paid (e.g. cash for cash or check
if the amount is less than $30.00; check for
cash or check if the amount is over $30.00;
or credit card for credit card). Unfortunately,
we cannot mix payment/reimbursement methods,
i.e. cash refund for credit card payment.
- The first tuition payment is due at least
48 hours prior to the start
date of the course.
- Tuition is valid for a period of 1 (one)
calendar year from the purchase
date. Tuition not utilized within this period
will be forfeited.
- Tuition can be transferred to another individual
or to another language.
Additional material fees may be necessary
for transferred tuition.
- Our class cancellation policy is 24 hours'
notice for Tue-Fri. Monday
classes must be cancelled on the Friday preceding
the Monday lesson (i.e. 72 hours in advance)
as cancellations for Mondays are not accepted
on Sat or Sun. Lessons cancelled less than
24 hours in advance are assessed the cancelled
day's tuition. This penalty includes the start
date if the final course confirmation has
been received from you. Lessons cancelled
more than 24 hours in advance are not assessed
any penalty. You may cancel lessons at any
time. You will receive more information about
filing cancellations on your first day of
class.
